Privacy policy
Last updated 8 October 2026
becoming ("we") is an app that helps you track your wellbeing and, if you choose, share it with a coach. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language. Questions: caiocezar.t@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address, and sign-in details (Sign in with Apple or email).
- What you log: weight, body measurements, progress photos, food, water, sleep, activity, mood check-ins, supplements, cycle, notes and targets.
- Apple Health (only if you connect it): the categories you allow, such as steps, energy, workouts, sleep, heart rate and other vitals, nutrition, water, body measurements, mindfulness and cycle data.
- Oura (only if you connect it): the data you approve on Oura's own consent screen, such as sleep, readiness, activity, heart rate, SpO2, stress, workouts and tags.
- Coaching: messages, check-ins, suggestions and call notes exchanged with your coach.
- App usage: simple events such as when you open the app or log something, without the content, to improve the app. We use no advertising or third-party analytics.
How we use it
To provide the app to you: store your history, calculate trends, targets and estimates, show your progress, and, if you link a coach, let them see the categories you share. We never sell your data and never use health data for advertising or marketing.
Who can see it
- You see everything you log.
- Your coach, only if you link one, and only the categories you switch on. You can hide single entries, change what you share or end the coaching at any time; hiding or ending never deletes your data.
- Service providers that host the app for us: Supabase (database and sign-in) and Amazon Web Services (photo storage, email delivery, server functions), with data stored in Sydney, Australia. They process data only on our instructions.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited per person and per category, every change to your data and every time a coach opens it is recorded in an audit log you can view in the app, and your session is kept in your device's keychain. Apple Health data is never stored in iCloud.
Your choices and rights
- Export all your data from the app (Me → Export my data).
- Delete your account and data from the app (Me → Delete account). Photos are removed from storage too.
- Disconnect Apple Health in the Health app, and Oura in the app or on Oura's website.
- Ask us for access, correction or deletion at the email above. Australian residents can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner; Brazilian residents, the ANPD.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is deleted; audit records are kept for up to two years without your personal content, to protect the security of the service.
Health information
becoming records and organises your information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Talk to a health professional about medical decisions.
Changes
We will update this page and tell you in the app if anything important changes.
